St. Ann's College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2001 at Vetapalem Mandal, Chirala, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh by The St. Mary Educational Society, pioneered by Educationalists, Industrialists and Philanthropists. The College is housed amidst lush green fields, in serene environment, free from pollution and conductive for the pursuit of education. Bay of Bengal is just two km away from the college.

          The Institution is Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is Permanently Affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

          Accredited by National Board of Accredition(NBA) Twice, & Permanently Accredited by Institution of Engineers(I). The Institution is Accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade. Recognised by UGC Under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act, 1956. Awarded 'A' Grade by Andhra Pradesh State Government.

          The College has a glory of experience in teaching from 2001 onwards. The College is situated along the Bypass Road at 6 KMs distance Chirala town in Chirala-Ongole stretch. The College campus has a sprawling area of around 19.28 1/4 acres, with serene atmosphere, sylvan settings and environs, conductive for academic activities. The college is well connected by rail and road links because of its ideal location.

Staying Physically fit and mentally refreshed is a must for every student. The best way to make it happen is through sports. We have Sports Centre, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities in the college campus. A large playground is equipped in the campus for Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball and other out door games as well as various indoor games are provided. It is the training and facilities that have helped St. Ann's in registering victory in various competitions. "Sports Ustav" and District Level Tournaments are conducted periodically

Sports & Games are played every day after the last period (i.e., after 3.30 pm). Latest Equipments are provided for daily practice. Management of the college are approached for further development of Sports & Games activities like Indoor Stadium, Tennis court, Expansion of the play fields and permanent building for Physical Education Department near play field.
