The Principal Dr.P.Thangavel Obtained Bachelor Degree from Institution of Engineers (India), Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Master Degree in Management from Madurai Kamaraj University and Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.
He has to his credit of 20 years of professional experience in industry and teaching. He has published four research papers in International Journals and two research papers in National journals. He has presented fifteen papers in the International/National conferences. He is reviewer of International Journal of Production Research (UK), International Journal of Manufacturing Engineers (UK) and Editorial Member of International Journal of Manufacturing Science and Management (IJMSM).He is a recipient of PERIYAR AWARD for “Best Engineering college Teacher” awarded by Indian Society for Technical Education – Tamilnadu and Pondicherry section.He is an active member in Institution of Engineers (INDIA),Life member in Indian Society for Technical Education and charted Engineer in Institution of Engineers (INDIA). His areas of interest include Cutting tool and machining process simulation.
