  Kings College of Engineering (KCE) is an institution which was formed with the single aim of providing quality education to the poor and under-privileged students of this region KCE has been started during 2001 and run by Raj Educational Trust (RET). KCE is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, NewDelhi (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. KCE has acquired ISO certification from TUV, Rheinland, Germany.

kings College of Engineering (KCE) College was established in the year 2001 by  Raj Educational Trust (RET). Our Institution was formed  with the singular aim of providing quality education to the poor and under-privileged students of this region. Our steps are measured and taken with our goal in mind, which is to become a renowned institution where knowledge is a way of life. We at Kings value the gift of Knowledge but do not put a price tag on it. We remain strong in our policy of "No Donations and No Capitation" and have focused in admitting students strictly on the basis of merit. Due consideration is given to the economical state of the family in admitting students from the under-privileged sections of the community.

  Situated on the Thanjavur - Pudukkottai Highway, The KCE campus spreads over 50 acres in a beautiful serene atmosphere ideally suited for technical education .The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst very best which has made it as one of the most sought after college in this region.

Kings College of Engineering (KCE) is run by Raj Educational Trust. (RET), Chennai is a registered trust under the Tamil Nadu Registration Act with a clear and concrete motive of spreading the wealth of knowledge. As the trustees come from a family, which has struggled for the freedom of our motherland and has roots in serving the army to protect the interests and integrity of our mother nation, discipline and service mindedness is an integral part of this trust.

Mrs. Renuka Devi, Trustee - Born     into    the   family    of   an  ex-serviceman, Shri. V.H.N. Dass, who fought for and served in the Indian Army valiantly and from a family of Gandhians that was involved at various levels of the Freedom Struggle, she grew amongst unsung heroes of the Great Indian Freedom Movement. She is a simple, valiant and straight-forward woman of grit and sincerity. Apart from being a founding trustee, she also served as our first Managing Trustee. Born into a family such as this it was only natural for her to get into the service-oriented field of education.
