  The A.R.J College of Engineering and Technology started in the year 2002-03 by the ANNAI AMMANI Ammal educational and charitable trust to augment the awareness of Technical Education among the rural and economically backward masses .

      Qualified engineering graduates may thus be produced who could bear the responsibility of providing impetus to growing industrialization of the country.Initially there were only three brances of engineering i.e Electronics and communication Engineering,Computer Science and Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology.From 2003 additional branches viz., Electrical and Electronics Engineering(2003), Civil Engineering (2005),Information Technology(2007) were added.

      To mould the bright and brilliant minds may be easy; but to create an excellent technologist out of lethargic abyss is strenuous. It is being made possible by sturdy supervision and constant vigil focused on the laggards and honing up the talented students as well.

"Service to Humanity is the service to the Almighty" to serve for our society and to our native people, I was fascinated to start this Esteemed Educational Institution to impart knowledge. It is to improve the hardworking, weaker section of the society as I couldn't pursue my studies in my young days due to an Inadequate Economic Infrastructure. I desire, will and wish to start more Educational Institutions, for the benefit of the forthcoming generation to gain such valid education, from these Institutions, for their betterment, to be praised and placed globally to bring fame and laurels to our home town.
